# Swissi EAID

> Your central digital Identity from Switzerland

One account for everything you do online. You sign in once, and the services you
use accept that. You decide what each of them learns about you, you can appear
under different names in different places, and you can withdraw what you shared
whenever you want.

## Status

In development. The homepage below is the only page that answers today. Nothing
here can be signed into yet, and there is no account to hold.

## What it is for

- Holding one account instead of a new one at every service.
- Showing a different name and different details where that fits, from the same
  account, without keeping several logins.
- Seeing everyone who holds something of yours, and stopping any of them.
- Signing in with an account you already have, or starting fresh here.
- Letting an assistant look after the account for you, with your approval on
  anything that carries weight.
